1938年   3月   Hideo Osawa established OSG Grinding Co., 

               Ltd. in Tokyo and started the manufacturing 

               and sales of taps and dies.

1942年   5月   Started the manufacturing and sales of screw 

               gauges.

1956年   8月   Started the manufacturing and sales of rolling

               dies.

1963年   6月   Changed the company name to OSG MFG. Company.

1963年  12月   Established OSG Corporation as the sole agent

               for OSG products in Japan.

1964年  12月   Stock listed on the 2nd Section of the Nagoya

               Stock Exchange.

1968年   2月   Established OSG Tap and Die, Inc. in Chicago, 

               U.S.A.(Renamed OSG USA, Inc.)

1970年   4月   Established Taiho Tool Mfg. Co., Ltd. in 

               Taiwan.

1970年  10月   Started the manufacturing and sales of HSS

               End mills.

1974年  11月   Established OSG Ferramentas de Precisão Ltda.

               in Brazil.(Renamed OSG Sulamericana de 

               Ferramentas Ltda. in 2009.)

1980年   9月   Started the manufacturing and sales of carbide

               end mills.

1981年   6月   Stock listed on the 1st Section of the Tokyo 

               and Nagoya Stock Exchanges.

1984年   3月   Started the manufacturing and sales of drills.

1985年  10月   Established OSG Korea Corporation.

1988年   1月   Established OSG Canada Ltd.

1990年  12月   Established OSG Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.

1992年  12月   OSG MFG. Company and OSG Corporation were 

               merged into OSG Corporation.

1994年   1月   Established OSG Royco, S.A. de C.V. in Mexico.

1996年  11月   Established OSG Thai Co., Ltd.

1997年  11月   Established OSG Europe S.A. as a holding 

               company in Belgium.

1997年  11月   Established OSG Europe Logistics S.A. in 

               Belgium.

1997年  11月   Established OSG France s.a.r.l.

1999年   4月   Established OSG UK Limited.

2000年   5月   Established OSG Scandinavia A/S in Denmark.

2001年   7月   Established OSG (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

2002年   7月   Established OSG Tooling Iberica, S.L. in

               Spain. (Renamed OSG Comaher S.L. in 2009)

2003年   1月   Established OSG GmbH in Germany.
